FAQS -
SHORT COURSES

What are the Differences in
Polytec Pipeline Joining Courses?

Buttwelding uses heat and pressure to directly join two PE (polyethylene) pipes.

Electrofusion uses heat and pressure along with an EF (electrofusion) fitting to link the ends, making a join between PE (polyethylene) pipes.

PVC Pipe Joining and Installation (Flexitec) uses solvent cement and rubber ring techniques to join PVC (polyvinylchloride) pipes.
